Lots more power

Well my warrenty just expired and after a ton of research here and a few other locations I installed the Magnaflow exhaust, the Brute Force non-oiled CAI and a performance chip from Nelson

 

The Brute Force CAI install could not have been easier. Maybe a 1/2 hour max and the instructions are very clear. Drove it with just this on it and the truck really sounds cool.

 

After I installed the Magnaflow I took it for a ride and it sounded and ran great, I was very pleased.

 

Next was the new chip from Mr. Nelson. I installed it Saturday night and had to do the cam re-learn procedure. AFter I did the re-learn it fired right-up and really runs a lot better now. I have no intention of puting the truck on a dyno just to see how much better it really is but I can tell it is running significantly stronger, It also appears to be getting improved gas mileage. When I next fill the tank I will let you now how much better.

 

Frankly, it was time to play with the truck some and I am extremely please with the results. What I was trying to achieve was a more truck like feel and sound. The truck pulls nicely from a dead start all the way to highway speed and sounds righeous. When you step down on it there is an immediate kick and off it goes. There is no comparison to stock.

 

In a couple of weeks I am taking the trailer out and can't wait to see how it tows.

Why did you wait? None of those things would have voided your warranty.
