THAT SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gordon should have been penalized for hitting Kenseth. If it had been anyone else they would've been penalized a lap, or at least the tail end of the longest line. Before you jump in and say they wouldn't; look at the Busch race last week and Kyle Busch. They only enforce the rules when they want and they never want to if it negatively effects Jeff Gordon.

I don't care if they enforce that rule or not, but if they are going to do it to one they should always do it to everyone.

Gordon is an idiot for doing something so obvious. Mike Helton is just as big of an idiot for letting Gordon get away with it. :fume::confused::crazy:

Kenseth ran out of fuel regardless on the next lap

Regardless... he went to block, checked up, Gordon had a goo run and did what he had to do.

Because Kenseth pretty much brake-checked Gordon it's Gordon's fault? What would you do if you're driving on the freeway doing 70mph and the guy in front of you slammed on his brakes for no reason and you hit him? Unavoidable at 70mph... immagine at 170!

I hate Gordon but I think he was fine in this instance.

I couldn't agree more,Gordon should have been penalized!

That definetly looked like a payback from the Bristol deal.

I'm not saying Gordon was wrong. I go back and forth on that. What I am saying is that NASCAR needs to be consistent, if it had been anyone else they would've penalized them. They're so afraid because Jr. and Jeffy missed the chase last year and don't want that again. If Gordon had been penalized he would still be out of the top 10 and if he hadn't wrecked Kenseth Jimmie Johnson wouldn't be in the points lead anymore..

Nascar is all rigged anyway. They can determine the outcome of a race by throwing cautions for "debris" at in-opertune moment, like after half the field has pitted. If you're gonna b*t*h about Gordon than ets include Stewart at Infinion a couple of weeks ago. He completely went out of his way to body slam Said cause he didn't like the way he was racing him. He also pushed several other drivers out of his way. BTW maybe it was a little payback for Bristol. If you ask me its just racing. Something they should do more of.

nascar is as consistant as they have ever been on being inconsistant. Heck they do it week in and week out.

Now there gonna tweak the chase again. In effect saying the last 2 champions weren't good enough, let alone all the other past champions.

After listening to Clarie B. Lange on XM interview Gordon in the media center he basically said the bump was intentional and he'll do it again. He said he's at a point right now where wins are so competitive and making the chase is crucial that he'll do whatever it takes to get wins and make the chase.

Apparently most drivers aren't "laying over" or "respecting him" like he thinks they should so he's getting aggressive, Earnhardt did the same thing in his later years. The kids don't respect the old man anymore so pops' bringing out the whoopin' stick.

I agree with you Elwood, I could care less if NASCAR punishes a driver or not but they need to be CONSISTENT. I feel they should let the drivers settle it on the track.

Believe me every driver heard what Gordon said, Burton watched the replay in the media center and said it was intentional, and they will race him the way he races them. Burton said the best defense is a good offense; wreck me this week, watch out next week.
