2000 Silverado "pop" sound

Alrright, I've started to develop a "pop" sound when turning left on my 2000 Silverado with 100k miles. I don't think it's the steering "clunk" I've read about, but not sure exactly what that sounds like. It occurs when I'm turning left about all the way, and sounds like someone cracking their knuckle. There's no feel in the steering wheel and the truck drives straight down the road. The front end is lubed, so I don't think there are any issues there. It sounds like it's coming from the left front wheel area.

I am not sure if the problem I had is the same but......I found that my silv, when in reverse mostly, would clunk, kinda loud, come to find out that my transfer case adapter was cracked, causing, what I think was my front drive shaft to act weird. Now I did not actually check this out myself since my truck is still under warranty, but you may want to check, since I had a similar noise with the wheel turned fully, but in reverse. Good times

Just want to make sure but is the sound comming from the front or the rear?
