cabin air filter

i just replaced my cabin air filter with one made by bosch. and it has a arrow like this ( <--- air ) which way is that supposed to be facing, towards the cab or outward toward the door. im confused.

It has been about 6 months since I changed mine. You can simply take the door off and take the filters out. Turn on the fan full speed and you should be able to stick you hand in the slot and feel the flow.

 

If I am not mistaken though, the air will be filtered before passing through the evaporator core.
