Open the driver's door jamb. What do the cold tire PSI ratings on the tire placard show?
I'm not saying to run it to those numbers, but I would like to know what it says.
Alright, thank you!
I reached out to one GM dealer and they say they weren't able to do it, probably don't want to!
but I might ask another one, and If they won't do it, I did a little bit of research and I think the Autel Makisys Elite II Pro scanner will work, it's just expensive!
i get this occaisionally, especially with updates or other things. What i've come to find is that if I'm connected to wifi before getting into my car, when i turn the car on it wont make the switch over to android auto. If i turn off wifi about a min or two before entering, keep only bluetooth on, it will force the wifi on and connect to android auto without a problem.
(i have a samsung s25 ultra)
The answer you're looking for is the TPMS threshold can only be reprogrammed through an MDI 2 interface with the truck using an advanced scan tool, or, at the dealer.
We deal with this all the time in the Jeep world when people upgrade tires and wheels, but, there are cheap aftermarket solutions so we can lower the TPMS threshold ourselves. I don't think one exists yet for the newer GM trucks.
