Shake, Rattle while Rollin'

Anybody having trouble keeping their aluminum wheels and tires balanced? I had mine to the dealer 4 times while under warranty. Now it's out of warranty so I'll have to lighten the wallet every time. I've even gone so far as to pull over and check for gravels in the tread. I'm stumped. It's got 27,000 miles on the tires; I can only hope the next set will fix it.

My OEM set was fine, ran smooth until I wore them out.

At about 45,000 miles I put on a set of Michelins which also were excellent (for a little while) until one of them went out of balance and the dealer (Discount Tires) simply couldn't get it right. Went to three different stores, and they finally threw in the towel and replaced that tire. Now the whole set is almost worn out, but never had another problem.

By the way, I don't normally tout any particular business, but in this case I have to make an exception. Over the past 5 or 6 years I've bought several sets of tires from Discount Tires, and I have nothing but praise for their stores. Their employees seem well trained and knowledgable, they're courteous and pleasant, and the stores/shops always seem clean and bright. Prices are as good as anyones, and they stand behind their product and work.
