Replaced door speakers, what about stock tweeters?

I put new 6.5in 2way speakers in the door or my 01 Silverado. What Im not sure about is the stock tweeter that's in the door panel, do I just leave it disconnected? Should I plug it back in, or do I need to run those wires to the new 6.5 I just put in?

I completely replaced the stereo system in my 99.

 

I did the 6.5 thing, and had tweeters from the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5's. I deep sixed the stockers, and mounted the Infinitys' near the stock location. Had to remove the cover screen (You get to do that about 1 time before the tabs break off, so be careful.) Ran the wires through the stock location and went from there.

 

All my speakers are Infinity, with a Blau head unit. Sounds excellent. I replaced all the stock speaker wire and Dynamatted the interior of the doors as well.

 

EDIT: Sorry. I have a crossover with the dedicated hook up for the tweeters. That don't help ya if you dont...........
