protecting beneath molding line

HI everyone,

 

My 2000 Z71 is getting plenty of stone chips on the rocker panels and some under the moulding line.

 

Just wondering if anyone has line ex'ed or undercoated their trucks under the moulding line?

 

Pics would be great to see.

Ya, thats what im thinking.............basically from beneath the molding to the bottom of the door...........full length of the truck.

 

Im hoping someone has some pics of this exactly.

The only thing I would do different is to bring the spray on clear up to the body line and not quit in the middle of the panel.

I plan on doing the very bottom, none on the doors. From the bottom of the rocker panel up to the bottom of the door, hardly even visible.

i used color your hippo on my old s-10 you can get any color you want it held up really good

Thats what im talking about............my truck is the charcoal grey colour so it won't show as much contrast as it does on that dually. I don't think I would do it on light colour paint........

When I get a little free time, hopefully before harvest, I hope to do this to my truck. With the little research I have done so far, Line-X has a product that can be color matched and will not fade. Some liner materials will fade with UV rays.

 

Like I said, I have not completed my research on different products yet, but I want to get this done.

A colour matched product would be perfect..........I've got to check out some of the auto parts store here in Canada and see if they have something to that effect...........
