What are the BEST shocks money can buy?

My dad's looking to upgrade to new shocks. He occasionally tows with his truck, so he wants the best...superior ride quality, and superior towing capability.

 

What is the BEST shock money can buy for this truck? I'll be installing them for him, so he wants the absolute best shocks...seriously...THE best...whatever the cost.

Everone has their own opinions on what is the best. Some say Rancho, some say Bilstein, Edelbrock, and others say for the money Monroe Reflex are as good as any. I say go with the Rancho 9000's adjustable, then when he's towing adjust the back ones up to the stiffest setting. When he's not towing adjust them back down to a more softer ride.

My bro opted for a Bilstein 7100 remote reservoir shocks. Skyjacker shocks are also nice.

Anybody ever installed Rancho's?

 

Rancho 5000's caught my dad's eye...just wondering what the feeling is like. His truck handles and rides like a Caddy with stock shocks, he kinda wants it the same way.
