Couple of Nav Questions...for CD Changer Install

Went to put in my CD Changer tonight...I have the 6 Disc Factory Unit that is similar to those in the Escalade/Denali....so I printed off the wiring schematic that Linda had posted for a few folks a while back when they were doing the install. This schematic said that you will use 6 wires, 3 will have to be soldered, and 3 will be put into place on the 12 Way Connector...I went in tonight and my truck already has all of those slots filled...I understand that I will need to solder onto the C1 Plug the three wires, but the other one where I should have just been able to pop the wires in, already have wires there....is this because I have a Crew Cab with the Rear Seat Audio? Please let me know...I got it all mounted and ready to go, just wasn't for sure on the connections. Are they the same and I just solder instead of simply pop the wires into the plugs?

 

Also is there a way to like space out the time period between when the NAV lady talks to you telling you to either turn, procede, etc. Ever since I have hooked up the VSS properly this lady talks like every quarter mile..I was wanting to space that out if possible.
