daytime running lights

I noticed the other day thay my drl were not working. I have checked a few threads on this and have found the finned module under the dash, but I was wondering if there wasn't a relay that could be bad somewhere. I found a relay in the block under the dash that if you remove it the headlights wont work, I was thinking that this relay could control the running lights as well, but that part of it could be burnt out. suggestions?

If your talking about your '96, see my thread for my '97:

The "finned" peice your talking about is the diode. That's what I had to replace. If you unplug the connector and jumper it with a paper clip, your DRL's should work letting you know the diode is bad. That's what I did. Good Luck.
