has anyone seen this on their 2500hd

I drove my GMC 2500HD CC D/A home from work right at the 5k total miles now Friday afternoon. Everything normal and nothing strange at all. Got in it Saturday morning and it cranked as usual and when I looked at the clock on the radio I couldn't figure out what station was 5:32. Well the actuall time was nearly 9am, and the time on the clock read 5:32 ??? I know that I hadn't hit either of the little hour or minute buttons on the radio, so that leads me to wonder what happened?

All my radio presets were fine, just the clock was wacked out?

You probably lost power to the memory portion of the radio. You may not think this, but if you remove the negative terminal of the battery, and then reconnect it, it sometimes does the same thing. All youre station presets are fine, but your clock of way off or comes back on at 12:00

that happened to me at work last week. The clock was fine on the way to work, but was screwed up when I started it to come home. All the radio presets were OK...

the radio presets are stored in the radio itself so a power loss will only mess up the clock. I bought the CD H/U from one of our members in Florida and his presets were still in the radio after not being hooked up for a month.

There is a TSB for it in the 02's. It covers random problems like the clock reseting.

I cannot find it online now but there is for sure a TSB. Radio is replaced.

I read somplace online about that TSB too. If you bring it in they are supposed to replace the radio for you.

I've had the clock change time by itself 2 times already. I thought that maybe I hit the hour button by mistake. Then I wondered how I could hit the hour, so often.My other truck had the same clock and the time was always correct.
