Torn shifter boot

I posted about this in the How To forum. Got several others who have the same problem, and wanted to get a part number. Just need some one who knows where to get a new one clue me in on where to get one.

The shifter (automatic) boot in my Sierra is torn and although it is not a big deal, I'd like to get it replaced. It looks like crap. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

This is the part # that is on the boot in my truck. If you pull the boot off there is a part # on it. Check it before using the part # I just posted

I checked mine and it doesnt have a number on it. wtf?????

You pulled the hole piece off?

There should be a part # on the hard plasic part of it

How do you remove it--just yank it out?

You have to separate the two steering column cover pieces to get it out

ok, I turned it inside out and looked at just the rubber part. I'll go look again.
