Envoy Security Alarm problems

Hi All,

 

I'm looking for someone that could help me resolve my alarm issue. This truck has developed a nasty habit of the alarm activating for no reason. My dome light sporadically won't shut off as it should and I thought it might be a bad door switch but how do I find out without changing each door switch and hoping I find the right one? I've had it in the shop and it was not doing it for them and they have no clue how to resolve it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect the door switch to see if it shorting out in the wiring or the switch. If it doesn't happen again, bingo there's your answer.It would explain both.
