Quick recap: on my wife's 03 2500 'Burban, we have had 28 warranty repairs. I was ready to throw in the towel and tried to "Lemon that pos" as another member said. This seemed to elevate the attention the problem got. The original stealer was unable to make the heated seat repair (8 times), new stealer fixed it after calling GM for tech support. The BBB declined to help us but, GM decided to help anyway. They gave me a new 6yr/75k top tier warranty plus bought back the remainder of my original warranty that I purchased, all at 54k miles. GM has just kept me as a customer.

I want to replace my '88, I'm thinking Duramax... :chevy:

One thing I forgot to add, my wife had EVERYTHING documented including a color coded spreadsheet she made to make it perfectly clear. She had how many miles were racked up (about 1200), time the vehicle was unavailable, etc.

Make sure you always get a slip from the service dept and make sure it's accurate :gmc:

I feel that the service you get from an insurance company is only as good as your agent. I feel likewise in regards to a car company. Some dealers are crap, others are excellent. Some work for the company, some work for YOU!

Congrats on the great service. It is getting harder and harder to find these days.
