Torsion Keys and Shackle Lift

I have a Silverado 1500 4x4 Z71 Crew Cab

 

I only want a small lift, and also to level my truck out. I have done a lot of research on this site, but need this cleared up.

 

At suspensionmax I found a lift kit that included 1.75'' shackle lift for the back, and torsion keys for the front.

 

A couple questions:

 

My front is 1.5'' lower than the back. If I put the shackle lift on, I will need to raise the front 3.25" with the keys. Will there be any adverse affects ? Bottoming out shocks or excessive wear?

 

Will my torsion bars be turned all the way up? Cause I hear that is a rough ride.

 

Has anyone else bought and installed this kit?

I too just wanted a small lift....make my '99 1500 4x4 reg cab look a little more truck like. Ive never heard of using shackles ive got add a leaf on the back of my silverado before it was sitting 1.5 inchs higher as you said. So ive still got to install my new ford keys and shocks to get 3" in the front and make it level....i dont think you can get 3.25 but i could be wrong..also you probably wouldn't noticed .25 just waiting to get paid so i can lift the front and get it aligned Hope this helps you somewhat and it hasnt cost me much. around $65 for leafs $33 each shock times 4.

 

 

$65 leafs ($80 installed which i would have done myself but had truck in shop for new eaton rebuilt rear end and figured why not $2,600 later)

$132 for shocks 2 of which im returning didnt work for rear not enough lift.

$70 ford keys

$30 7-ton gear puller

and i think thats it

 

so.....

$347 with a cost of $50 alignment and minus $66 because i dont need the back shocks total of $281 you cant buy a kit that cheap
