2004 Silverado Fuel DIC

GM Tech, I have a 2004 Silverado LS, My question is concerning the DIC. I do not get a fuel or miles to go, or average fuel mileage. I do not have the steering wheel controls. I thought this info was still available through the push button on dash. Were there options as far as this feature is concerned, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help earlier last month helping me re-program my keyless remotes to read Driver 1 again. Appreciate it!

If you dont have steering wheel controls, then that information is not available in your DIC. No amount of button pushing will bring it up.
