What size draw bar / ball mount??

Hello, I don't know much about towing, etc, just know I'll be towing the occasional light trailer, jet ski, or small boat.

2006 Silverado 1500 Ext cab Hybrid 5.3 2WD, factory tow hitch. and no lift.

Just needing to know what size (class, length, drop, raise, etc) to do the above mentioned tasks. Also, will any brand work better than others as far as snugness in the receiver? Thanks in advance!!

If the trailers are light such as a utility trailer, a Class III hitch, 2" drawbar with a 2"drop/3/4" rise and 1 7/8" ball should cover all your needs. As light as the trailers are, you shouldn't need any brake controller. All you really need can be bought at your local Stuff-Mart. If you have a torque wrench, you can install the hitch yourself inside of 45 minutes and the wiring is plug and play with a Hoppy harness. Very straight forward stuff.
