restarts in 4 WD ?

turn truck off and restart , it is in 4 low and it is a push button !

 

any help out thair ?

I would guess the push button switch is the issue. But like I said, just a guess.

i had the same thing happen with my 2005 1500....i would turn off my truck in 2wd and then turn it on and it would be in 4low or 4high, it also said "service 4wd"....not sure if yours says that. i took it to the dealership and they said they had to switch something out in the front transfercase, something to do with a solenoid
