Running and moutning sirius antenna

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I can find pictures of an install of the antenna for sirius? Hooking it to the deck is no problem, I am just unsure where and how(and what to take apart) to run the antena out the third brake light.

Ive heard of people putting the antenna in the glove box. Is that a good option?

Thanks

run your antenna wire thru the 3rd brakelight, with the breaklight removed.

you can put your hand far enough back to pull on the wire and bring it thru the passenger side door. just tuck the antenna wire up between the headliner and roof with a popsicle stick. finish by running the antenna wire down the a pillar. hope this helps

Mine is mounted thru my 3rd break light, as mentioned above. Be sure to put a dab of sillicone where the wire meets the gasket, it will leak in the car wash without it.

I ran my wire down the passenger side headliner towards the rear plastic pillar where the rear seatbelt is. Then down to the bottom and underneath the plastic kick plates, then up the plastic panel beside the front passengers right foot to behind the glove box.

Pretty simple. Be careful with your snaps. They are firm, but hold very well.
