Sweet man ..how dose it sound ?

Im looking at Getting a complete setup soon My only consern is that the head unit looks totally clean after instal.

I also vouch that Crutchfield is awsome to deal with and have very competitve prices.

Looks good man. I need to get some pics of my system up. I need to put carpet on the box first. I kept the stock radio, didnt wanna screw with the steering wheel adapter and some other adapter I'd have to buy. Still had to use one, but it was like 20 bucks, some s**t for the RCA's. What I love about mine is the sub is right behind the arm rest, so you look back and see the sub going crazy  Also the Alpine is grey/black, the amp is too, so it blends in with the interior pretty well. The arm rest doesnt fold back anymore, a complete downside with my girlfriend in the truck :confused: but oh well, 6 feet of bed is enough.

Ill get pics up sometime soon, carpet or no carpet on the box.

Excellent setup man.

I've got two of the 10" Comp V/R's in my truck now (had them under the seat of my ex-cab too). GREAT subs.

Thanks for the pics

nice im sure it must hit hard in the back of the truck with that one kicker CVR. I put 3 12 in back of the extened cab Sierra and it bangs hard. myabe i should put some picture up of my setup sometime.

I like the polks, great sound. The system sounds great, but there is a vibration on the passenger side by the seat belt somewhere, i have to fix that cause it's annoying.

And someone said something about getting a steering wheel adapter for a new head unit, I have no idea what your talking about, mine went in fine. Crutchfield gave me a harness and two mounting plates so it looks flush, and the wires in the back fit in fine, though i had to splice and connect a crapload of wires.

The only problem that I had putting it in is drilling a hole through the firewall to the motor, because you can't drill anywhere, because you can't be sure whats on the other side of the wall. Also at the very end, I tucked wires under my kick plate and was screwing it back on, and went through some wires (enough to piss ya off), but other than that, it was fun.

Sweet deal man...with the steering wheel adapter, that only applys to the NBS trucks with the Buttons on the wheel for the stereo and what not..i think its on 03 and up trucks.
