XM Radio compatible with Non-Lux Navigation

Hi, I am Newb here, but I have thoroughly read through previous posts and cannot find an answer to my question. I currently have the non-lux bose setup with factory XM. If I take it out and put a non-lux INR, will it be XM compatible. What about a TNR? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, this forum is awesome and VERY informative. Much more helpful than any shop or dealership.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Factory XM is separate unit from INR or TNR so they shouldn't have any problem with your XM. It should be just plug and play (except for that you most likely have to get your INR or TNR vin cleared). Plus you get better display of the song and artist info from XM.

I 'third' what they've said. INR vs. TNR won't matter. Just make sure you buy a non-lux TNR or INR, and it will be plug and play. But, like they said, you could have to have the theftlock removed at the dealership--simple but possibly expensive ($50-$100).
