So How Does GMs Bed Exnender mount?

I'm *thinking* about getting a bed extender for those occasions where I'm carrying two dirt bikes and all the associated gear.

 

But I don't want to drill holes in the truck for some cheesy mounting brackets held in place by sheet metal screws (I was disappointed enough when I found out the factory bedliner was held in place with more sheet metal screws than are on the whole dang truck! I've pulled that thing & filled those holes)

 

Anyway, please tell me you have a bed extender that simply clips into the tailgate latch pins or some other slick (and strong) setup like that??
