Argh! Can't find tow connection wiring harness!

OK, so I buy the Prodigy brake controller for my travel trailer and the Suburban harness. However, I cannot find the connector in my Suburban to plug the wiring harness into. I got under the Suburban in the rear, saw where the rear plug (7-pin) was, saw an enclosed bunch of wiring encased in a flexible plastic hose leading towards the front of the vehicle, and then it went into the driver's side underneath the vehicle and supposedly up towards the front.

From there, got in the car, twisted myself into anatomically impossible shapes, searching with a flashlight for anything remotely resembling the square harness end of the harness leading from the Prodigy and couldn't find it. Is it hidden somewhere? Located in a super-duper-secret place? Do I have to tear off panels to find it? I'm about ready to take it to the dealer and pay them the $$ to do this for me.

If you could give us your vehicle information, it would help.

So you have your Prodigy with a square plug at the end of the wires ready to plug into something? And can not locate where to plug this in to? If that is the case there is a Black box/cover behind the emergency brake pedal, remove the plastic nut holding it on to reveal several blank plugs to shaped like the Prodigy plug. It Plugs into the top row second from the left. Double check the wire function with the functions on the plug there changes to the location/function on those plugs.

99 and up NBS?
