Thinking about a 3" body lift and maybe bigger tires. Any ideas? It has a 5.3 with Gibson catback duals. Both pipes come out the passenger side behind the cab. I'm also thinking about a pushbar (would've helped today with the Christmas shopping traffic, lol).

I would stay with your stock 265's? unless you plan on off roading.

That's a very sharp truck you've got.

I agree with the person above, I like the stock ride height and tire size on the new trucks. A lifted ext. cab just looks goofy to me. That's just my $0.02 though...

I really like the front side window tint you've got. I think it looks much better on a white truck, than any other color because of the contrast. Nice.

How many miles are on her?

Truck looks nice, but I would definitely go with some kind of 285 if ya consider to do so. I did and I would never go back to a 265.

It has 116,000 miles and counting. I drive 1000 miles per week! And yes, I also like the tinted windows on the white truck. Everything is white, black and red. Those colors look good together. The interior is graphite colored. I used to have a 92 Chevy fleetside long bed. I went back to driving a car and realized that I needed another truck, so here it is. I think I will go with 285's, maybe a 3" body lift, and a black pushbar / grill guard. I also do a lot of construction work, so I will probably also get a Back Rack system, with the tool box rails. I'll post more pics as I do more mods. Love this site!!

If you are doing construction out of this truck you may want to save yourself chiropractic bills and keep it at stock height. I use my 05 Z71 as my principle work truck and the stock height is pleany high when loading 80 pound bags of concrete and other heavy tools, etc. It may not look as exciting, but it saves a lot of pain. Also, the lower truck will get better milage if you are driving 1,k miles a week you will see significant savings. Think about having a work truck and then a toy that you modify and customize to have fun with. The savings that you achieve from the work truck may pay for the other.
