Hey guys my names Evan im 17 and i know my mechanics somewhat, but when it comes to electrical im a newbie and heres the Problem with my 94 silverado.. ive searched this forum and havent really found an answer. When im driving along the truck starts sputtering a little bit especially at low RPM.. I have a CD player installed and it flickers along with the heater and headlights if there on. I have recently replaced the air filter and changed the oil and plugs. Could this be a problem with my Alternator ? or is there some other electrical problem or throttle body issue. The truck recently had a run in with a telephone pole but has been rebuilt, im wondering if there isnt a ground or somthin that might have loosened up.Plus my tail lights arent working along with my Roof lights and dash lights, i have searched the forums and possibly linked the tail light issue with an old Trailer Hookup that might have went sour on me . Any Help would be Greatly apreciated.

Mine did this, but it was just because the positive cable hooking to the battery was loose, so I tighten it down, and no more problems. So check and make sure that's tight.

Evan,

Another thing you might check, under the hood on the

passenger side is a black plastic cover and under that

is a power distribution strip, check to make sure that all

of the connector are tight , the cover is just above the a/c dryer

on the firewall.

It ended up being somthin stupid.. that little connecter thing that comes off the negative post on the battery and connects with somthing else. must be a ground of some sort anyway i tightened that up and havent had a problem
