MPG for 6.0 MAX in 4.10 ratio...

I'm new to the site so sorry if this has been discussed previosuly, but I am about to order the '07 1500 Crew Cab with the Max Towing Package - includes 6.0L engine and 4.10 ratio axle. I tow 5k - 7k lbs a couple times a week May - October. Does anyone have any idea what I can expect for MPG around town and at highway speeds when I'm not towing? I think the 6.0 Max with a 3.73 ratio is quoted at 15 - 19mpg...will the 4.10 make a huge difference? How about noise/ride quality (ie will it rev higher at 75 mph)?

Thanks in advance for your input.

You cannot get the 6.0 with the 3.73 in a 1/2 ton with the MAX Trailering Package. Supposedly you can get the 6.0 with 3.73's in the Z71 Off Road package, but I have not seen it available yet in any of the truck builders I have played with.

About every Chevy vehicle I have had gets about 75% of the stated mileage. For example, my van said 14/18 and I get 11/15. Suburban I had said 14/18 and it got 10/14.

Towing, and this is based on stuff Ive read here, not true experience, will be about 7 to 9 MPG on relatively mild hills.

The 2wd vortec max comes with 3.73's. The 4wd vortec max comes with 4.10's.
