Reusable transmission gaskets

Hi,

 

I am going to change the transmission fluid on my truck and it has a reusable transmission gasket (it is an OEM molded reusable gasket), do I need to apply gasket sealant (RTV) to the gasket when I close the pan back up or will it work without gasket maker as long as the gasket is in good condition?

Do not put anything on the gasket. Just clean and dry.
