This is the first winter for our proud DURAMAX owners. I was wondering if anyone has experienced cold related problems?

Nope.  Mine has started at -23 F without being plugged in.

Zero problems for me. 17,000 miles, on the truck, and I'm into my second winter. Coldest non-plugged in start for me was -17 F.

 

Things to remember- keep treated or blended fuel in the tank to prevent gelling of the fuel, and you should be just fine.

I was going to ask about the "gelling" of the fuel.  When it gets that cold I thought you'd have problems with any diesel.

Starts no matter what. Anytime, even without a wait under freezing.

have 4000 miles on my dmax 6speed have yet to plug it in has started every time no problums.

Have seven DMAX's and none of them have had a problem starting cold and they were very rarely plugged in.  These diesel's are a great motor and they start under what seems like any conditions. That's my 0.02
