level kit in a one ton pros and cons?

i have an 07 3500 crew cab long bed dually and i would like it to sit level.i am also going to be towing a 15 k lb 5th wheel. my question is will it be nose high when loaded if i level it unloaded? my thoughts are it will tow poorly if its nose is high when loaded. anyone out there have any experience with this?

I don't know why it's such an issue with these new trucks, but my dad's ol '94 1-ton dually sits pretty level unloaded, and barely squats when hitched to their 15k fifth wheel. However, yes, with the nose raised some (which could be an issue) it will tow and drive much poorer as you will have less traction on the front tires. However, I don't know if it would make too much difference.

mine has alot of rake to it,the front sits alot lower than the rear.it may be because its 4x4 or maybe the diesel weight compresses the front suspension more. i would just like it to sit level as long as i dont end nose up loaded. if that cant be done easily i will live with how it is now

i know what you mean i have a 2001 chevy 3500 and the back sits 3 or 4 inches higher if not more. you could try a torsion bar tweak which will raise the front end a little bit and you can adjust it if needed.
