2005 Silverado with 7"fabtech lift

the question is my guy at work has a 2005 silverado with the 7" fabtech lift and 35" tires and 4:56 gears. He consistently throw an ABS light and he is clueless how to fix it. Forgot to mention he has rear drums if that matters or not. The speedo is off too but that is to be expected. the shops he has talked to tell him that the Hypertech should fix the problem and it is fairly common among the newer GM trucks with lifts. He tried the dealership but as soon as GM found out that he is using aftermarket parts they would release the codes the the tech to flash the computer. So the question is whats the best course of action or will the Hypertech fix the problem?
