Well dealerships here in Flordida esp Central Florida cannot get rid of any of the new Silverado's. All here are asking MSRP. From what I understand don't look for any rebates anytime soon.

Probably will be at the end of the model year before any discounts will be available. The full complement of product is not even out in production yet.

They're all over the papers here listed at "$8000 off MSRP".

Are you sure those are not the GMT800 '07 Classics? :chevrolet: They would be losing too much on a truck that just hit the streets.

We have about 8 GM dealers here in a 10-20 mi. radius. They each have about 2 trucks, all 5.3, LT2 or LT3's. All are still there for about 1 month +/-. A freind needed a new truck, drove it, thought it was nice, dealer would only come off MSRP $1,000. He walked and bought a Titan. Similiar equiped for about 5K less.

Yup, I'm sure it's the 900's.

I doubt anyone is getting a 2007 silverado for 8000 off MSRP...

The truck I want Silverado 2007 LTZ 4x4 is listed right around 40,000 MSRP. I got the dealer to go 200 above invoice which will be around 38,000. Still not a good deal for this truck. The dealership near mean has atleast 50 of these on the lot.. I am yet to see one on the road... so I am hoping that sales are hurting and they will start to issue rebates sooner than later... I can wait..

I'm staring at the ad right now:

"The Brand New '07 Body Style Chevy & GMC

New '07 Chevrolet Crew Cab 4x4 $8,000 off MSRP

Now, you know as well as I do the tricks that dealers pull to get people in there (they probably only offered that on ONE truck or something stupid like that)...But the deals are out there.

The '07 Avy is $13,000 off in the same ad. :troll:

Crewcabs in the GMT900 wont start production until mid Feburary and saleable vehicles around late Feburary.

1/2-ton "GMT900" Crewcabs have been out since late Oct./early Nov.

They started Crewcab production first (Around Oct.2nd) then went to Ext.cab (Oct.16th) then Regular cabs (Nov.14th)

All were waiting for now is the HD's which should have started production around Jan.22nd for the Regular cabs and Ext.cabs,Crewcabs will start production around Feb.26th.

Orders for the Duramax Diesel engine and 3500HD's with dual-rear-wheels will start being accepted April 5th.
