Is the Sierra Denali being made yet?

I just got my new body style 07 Sierra SLE and I have been trying to hunt down a Denali grill (either GM or aftermarket stainless). No one has them yet! I need to complete the look of my truck. When will they be available to order?

I was at the dealer yesterday and GM has a grill that will be available in about 3 weeks. I don't think its an exact copy of the Denali grill, but it looks nice. He showed me a picture in a Sierra accessories brochure. The real Denali grill looks flat from the pictures. This one was the same material but wavey.

Was it in the accessory flip book? There is one in there that looks sort of like Denali, but it isn't the read deal! I was tricked until we started running part numbers. I'm going to need the "fog light" (lower) Denali grill too. I'm going for the complete front end look.

I am almost sure its not the real deal. It was in the accessories flip book along with portable DVD players, air intake kits, tonneau covers, etc. The book was blue in color?

Post pictures when you are able to get ahold of one and put it on!

I will post pictures....but I've got to get one first!!! I don't want an "el cheapo" bolt-on/snap-over grill. I need the real deal or an exact aftermarket copy.

I guess that scarcity of parts of accessories for these trucks is the price we pay for being among the first to get them.

 

I ordered an ARE fiberglass shell 2 weeks ago (they were not available before then and I have had my truck since November.) Dealer said they used to pre-release these trucks in the past to the aftermarket so they could come out with their products but didn't with the GMT-900 trucks. The aftermarket is probably way behind getting product to market.

 

I bet it will take a while to get the part through GM too.

Last time I checked, it didn't come in a reg cab and it didn't have 4WD (only AWD, which I hate on trucks).

I bet the Sierra Denali will haul ASS! 6.2L with the 6-speed tranny? That sounds like a tundra killer.

A friend of mine just ordered a Denali with every option it could have. He was told by GM that it will not be in before June. He isn't thrilled and had to call GM because the Dealer just kept running him in circles and wouldn't give him a straight answer. I can't wait to see it when it comes in.

I ordered mine last week, and they are telling me 6 to 8 weeks, should be here the 1st part of May.

What do you mean? Into production? I ordered an 07 Denali but they said mid May before it would go into production.

 

GM needs an production tracking service with pictures so we can watch our vehicles being made.
