Heater Control (Hi-Lo)

The Lo, Med, heater control doesn't work in my 99 Yukon. Only the Hi works. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Sounds like the blower resistor has failed. When they go, usually you only have the HI setting left because it's just a straight circuit (voltage doesn't get reduced by the resistor). Here's a Link to the resistor that partsamerica shows for your vehicle. It shows a picture of it too. I don't know where it would be found on your truck though, probably in one of the air ducts under the dash. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Thanx BTD, that helps I will see if I can get it locally, and where it is mounted on my truck. Nice ride too, I see by the photos you have an F-150 as well. Is that the 76 model? I too have an old Ford. How can I add my photos and specs to my profile as well?
