People do care and that is why they are covering it so much. I am not sure who cares but someone does. Best thing to do is turn the channel when the coverage comes on. That is about the only power we have. Also if someone tries to talk to you about Anna Nichole Smith change the subject and ask them what the world should do to help the suffering people in Sudan. They will most likely gie you a deer in the headlights look. At this point it is acceptable walk away with a smug grin on your face.

Stuff like this is why I dont watch the news too much...someone got shot, gas station got robbed, anna nicole has huge knockers ect. News is lame. I was watching the news for a few minutes today, then an anna nicole story came on, so you know what I did? got some of "the works" oven cleaner and cleaned my 3.5" stainless tips. It was more fun and productive than her and the news story on her.

I try to avoid entertainment news at all costs because it pisses me off how their lives are shoved in our faces even though they have minimal importance, just because they're famous.
