Just picked up a full frame resto '77 K20 the other day. Truck is in fantastic shape, its got bc/cc paint, bed/interior/innerfenders all rhino lined, sm465, np205, full floating 14 bolt, 10 bolt front, and a pretty fresh 350.

That thing is nice, I like how it was kept stock looking for the most part.

That's the best part, I like how its stock looking too. Of course when I have to grab ahold of the steering wheel and throw myself up in it, I feel like its not very stock.

Not sure how the wife is gonna get into the passenger side. I hate steps or running boards of any kind on these vintage rigs..... :flag:

I'm Jealous. I have always liked that body style.

I see lots of old half tons around that are clean but it seems that the heavy trucks just got worked into the ground.

My dad used to keep a 5 gallon bucket (w/ the lid on it) with a piece of string attached to the handle,

in his truck so my mom could get in easily, then just grab the string and pull

the bucket back into the truck.

Good looking truck.

You really need wider tires for it. Those pizza cutters have to go!

Thanks for the compliment!!!

Yeah I'm not sure what I'm gonna do for tires. I love the look of the TSL Radials, but they aren't much good for a truck doing mostly street duty. I've been shopping for a AT tire or maybe even a less aggressive mud tire, just don't know what to do.

Surprisingly the tsls don't ride that bad and are actually quite quiet. Biggest problem is that they aren't balanced, anyone know if these would take to balancing just fine?? Plus I don't know that they would wear very long....anyone run these before and could tell me how long they may last?

I think the cherry on top would be some nice chrome rims (nothing too flashy) and some BFG Mud terrains. They're both good on the street and off-road.

I wouldn't take that truck off-road though---IT's too nice!

Yeah BFG MTs are at the top of the list if I switch tires. Thinking I'm staying with the stock steelies though, like the tough look of the black.

Although the truck did come with a set of the newer aluminum GM HD rims. Anyone think they would look cool on a classic like this? If not I'm gonna sell them and put money towards new tires.
