2002 2500HD Crew Cab ~ Stock Speaker Info

If some one could please, tell me what size speakers come stock in the front and rear door panels of a 2002 2500HD Silverado Crew Cab w/out Onstar

 

I checked Crunckfields Website and they claim there both 6-3/4 (but also claim thats an odd size and that some mods might need to be made)

 

I'm looking for direct replacement sizes

 

 

Also does anyone have any tips for removal of the door panels?

The doorpanels are easy to remove. just find the screws. there is one behind the little triangle trim where the mirror goes. 1 on the bottom under the door panel. 2 (1 on each side) hidden by plastic covers. a nut buy the door andle and i believe one behind the door lock swich.

 

the door panel then just lifts up and out. it is held in by 4 or 5 hook tabes. you need to lift and pull out.

you can probably fir 6 1/2 in the front and the back.

 

as for the door panel, nothing hidden, whatever you see, unscrew andpull it up.
