Is a 2004 chevy truck intake manifold compatible with a 2001 chevy tru

I'm taking my magnacharger supercharger off my 2001 Tahoe and need the stock parts to put back on it. I have a guy that will sell me his stock parts from his 2004 Silverado but he wasn't sure whether or not the intake manifold would work correctly. He said something about the fuel rods being different maybe because the 01 trucks had fuel return lines (or something along those lines) and the 04's didn't. Will the intake manifold assembly still work from and '04 to an '01?! Thank you!
