Headlight low beam out - Is there a DIY fix?

I have a 2005 GMC Canyon crew cab 4WD. The passenger low beam lamp is not lighting, but the high beams are working fine. What is the best/cheapest way to get the low beam on again?

I was wondering if there was a bulb replacement that I could do myself, or if the whole lamp needs replaced? Also, would this be something covered under an extended warranty purchased through the dealer?

Thanks for any help.

You'll need to take out your bulb and replace it. Its pretty easy to do. Just make sure you buy the same one as what is is there (pay attention to wattage). Any auto parts store should be able to help you.

Excellent. I just didn't know if the bulb was replacable by itself (thought maybe it wasn't designed to work that way) or if the whole beam had to be replaced. Thanks.
