Tuning Questions

Ok, so after reading all your posts Ive decided Im gonna have to get a tune for my new 6.0L ...

 

Now i have some questions that i know you can help me with....

 

First off im a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff, but have a degree in mechanical engineering and do a lot of my own car work on the mechanical systems, I stay away from computer stuff. So Im looking for something that wouldnt require alot of experience...

 

So I think ive narrowed it down to a Predator handheld or possible a Nelson... Please advise me as to what goes into each and how easy it would be.

 

PS - Id be willing to take some more "risk" for more performance.

HuntingEd, with Allen he sends you a whole new pcm and you just swap them out.. You can keep your factory one and put it back in when you go to the dealer or just not worry about it.. Tech II cant detect if it has been tuned or not.. The only thing youd have to worry about is them reflashing the computer back to stock, but then you just call Allen and he gets a new one out..

I would definately get a custom tune over a handheld. Now you just have to decide on which custom tune...
