Odo Wont Shut Off

2000 Chevy Silverado

I recently had an alarm/starter installed Im having a problem with my odo light staying on after the truck is shut off as well as the message center Battery light staying on, they will not turn off no matter what I do would anyone know what this problem is stemming from?

Hmm, not sure but maybe when the alarm was being installed, the installer messed up and accidently switched your wire to those accessories to constant 12v instead of just ignition....check where the installer plugged the power for the alarm into....
