2000 Silverado Stock Head Unit

Just wondering if this has an aux Input? I'm guessing it does as the deck has an Aux button but im double checking to make sure so I can maybe save myself some time

Well, it depends on what kinda radio is in it. I have a 2000 GMC Sierra and I've seen at least 3 different types of radios in the same model. I have the one with the tape player on it and there is no AUX input(Ive installed another radio since). But I know that the Tahoes have AUX for playing the dvd unit in the back through the speakers. Maybe the buttom is for a remote CD or Cassette tape....but Im almost positive that GM doesn't make a radio with an AUX jack(Im guessin thats what your looking for).

Dont know if it has Aux on it, never checked mine. I am trying to get some post replies, so that I can post my own question. What adapters do I need when switching my stock head unit, to a pioneer, something about an adapter so the computer still thinks it is communicating with the stereo?
