Anyone know who makes the bed rug chevy offers thru chevy accessories? anyone have one? whats your take on them? i am thinking i am liking them, havent used one yet, but seen one, and look awesome

not sure, but order your accessories through some place on line, dont let the dealer rip you off...

I have a Bed Rug. Not from the dealer or gmpartsdirect. Mine says BedRug on it...bought it from RealTrucks.com if I remember right. Awesome product so far. Keeps stuff from sliding all over the bed. Mind you I don't haul any serious loads like stone, dirt, bark, lawn equipment.......so I'm not sure how it would hold up to that abuse. I carry mostly personal stuff....bikes, the occasional lawn mower around the block, furniture, and boat equipment in the summer. I love it! Gives the bed a nice clean look. I topped it off with a Truxedo low profile tonneau cover and it looks great!

Compare prices and brands between aftermarket and dealers. Dealers may be a little more, but keep in mind if you have a dealer install an accessory prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. The accessory gets included in the vehicle warranty in addition to any mfr warranty.

I had the dealer install my Access cover since they were only $25 higher than if I had done it myself afterward ($425 vs $400 from my local retailer). The warranty wasn't an issue here since Access's warranty is better than my vehicle warranty, but for $25 I didn't have to mess around making an appt and bringing it in on my own after taking deleivery. Same thing with my Line-X, except the dealer price was actually $50 less since they get a volume discount from Line-X.

 

If you've already taken delivery, I wouldn't even mess around with the dealer and I would just buy a Bedrug brand from a retailer.

 

personally though, I prefer the Line-X and the Access tonneau cover...just my .02 there.
