just wanted to make an intro style post here in the d'room....

 

i have a not so shevy-chevy...

 

late 2006 custom rock buggy chassis built by Blue Torch Fab in dothan alabama...

 

vortec v6 power (with nitrous)

built TH350 w/ manual valve body

atlas 4.3:1 transfer case

under construction still at this point in time....

thx guys. it's definitely a money pit....i should have it rolling within a couple more onths...waiting to move into a new house....then i can get it from my buddy's house and work on it when ever i want....

i will post pics up...i should have some in a few weeks....i am at a stand still ATM, but that will change soon...

 

and besides, you guys would rather see pics of the buggy with a 4.3 engine than my FORD tow vehicle now wouldn't you....

YUM!!! that buggy is awsome.

 

I'm 6'9" so I dn't want to build a kit or a prebuit cage. I'm afraid it won't be spaced right, and my knees/head take a beating as it is. The last thing I need to do is cram into a rock buggy and really hurt myself.

 

My dad has an old '86 F-250 with a 460 that the body is about gone on. I want to strip the body, shorten the frame, build a cage like the one above, and go tear up some dirt. It will certainly be a while before I get there though. The fun part is building too.

 

Anyway, sweet ride. Keep us up to date on it.
