Vortec 4.3 Remote Filter

i need to find out what i need to change my remote oil filter on the 4.3 to the block location...

 

i can figure out taking off the old hoses and what not...but need to know if there is a block off or something i need for where the old remote lines were...

 

this engine is in my rock buggy and i am wanting to get it all going pretty soon...the guy i bought it from said that there is a kit or something to do the oil filter swap...

 

please assist in any way...

(oh, and the engine is a 4.3 from a 2000 4wd blazer)

Depending on the assembly, aftermarket manufacturer etc. you should try their web-site first, then you have to just do the basics. Locate assembly, remove old and replace. Check for leaks and go wheelin.

i am talking about a complete removal of this item and to use the back side of the block to hold the filter....not a replacement of the remote lines....

try looking at this thread: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/printthread.php?t=199016 it looks like it depends on what year engine you have. they had a std. size and a metric size depending on your engine year model. hope this helps.......
