Here it is my new Silverado. The picture is kind of poor (cell phone), but the truck makes up for it :shakehead: . It's a 1500 LT only a 4.8L hope it saves some on gas. I put my new wheels and step rail on. I have a GM bed liner in it, but the dealer screwed up. It's supposed to be Rhino Liner. I just have to schedule an appointment.

Nice truck. Is it lifted?

Nice looking truck, what kind of wheels? they look good.

They are 20" Victory Wedge Nascar Wheels. And For Big Tool; it's not lifted but it seems like it. That's just how they are I guess. :shakehead:

Looks sweet. :shakehead:

Hopefully your hope of saving gas with the 4.8 didn't go out the window with the 20" rim upgrade  I don't have the fully upgraded DIC yet - but I'm pretty sure I noticed a slight decrease in mpg (definitely noticed a slight decrease in off-the-line power, probably my sucky 3.23 gears) going from 17" w/ 245 to 18" w/ 265 on my 07 NBS.

Go Line-X or keep the drop in liner. You don't want Rhino. Either choice is far better then a regular Rhino.

I agree, tell your dealer you want Line-X, you will be much happier with it. Take our word for it and/or do your own comparison. You will see. I even saw a demo where they took a 3" x 3" sample of Line-X and "sanded" a 3" x 3" sample of Rhino. The Rhino scuffed up and the Line-X was unscathed.

You know.. I was reading your other posts and I think I agree. My last truck had LineX and I was really happy with it. And it still looks good as of yesterday when I traded it in. The only thing is the dealer I went to only does Rhino so I've been thinking to just keep the liner. It is a under rail liner too, it looks good and it was FREE. The LineX place here localy does it for about $500, but the liner was free to me. If the liner turns out bad later I will get it sprayed then. Thanks. :shakehead:

By the way... this liner subject is getting pretty serious! But it's good for me cause I can see what a lot of peopl's experiences are.

Again, thanks. To add to it too: the military uses it too for more important reasons with very impressive results. :shakehead:

It is a sweet looking truck! I am having a 6.0L shipped in from BC and it has the front plate bracket on it and the roof rails. looking at your truck I like the roof rails but you think it would look bad to remove the plate bracket?

How would line-x perform in a beat to hell scuffed up 7 year old truck bed like mine? I'm thinking about getting a liner if nothing else just to prevent rust in there.
