Just a simple question. I know the brake pedel is always low on GM SUV's but now it has gotten really low and is starting to not hold. How hard is it to adjust ?

thanks

It is a self adjusting system. However if the park brake shoes were set incorrectly from the start it is pretty easy to set the shoes. There are adjustable star wheels on the rear wheel backing plates. take a flat blade screw driver and spin the star wheel a half turn (counter clockwise) at a time and try the pedal. It is a variable ratio pedal meaning that it should never feel rock solid at the bottom of the pedal. To test, put the pedal down and put the truck in gear and give it some gas and see if it holds well.
