Protecting Rocker Panels

Recommended Posts

I just got done putting duplicolor roll on bed liner on my rocker panels. I started 3.5 inches from the bottom of the plastic body molding and went all the way to the bottom edge of the rocker panels. I used masking tape to keep the top edge staight and scotch birght pad to scuff up the region where the bedliner went on. It worked really well and looks great. I had some rust starting from rock chips and what not. This was on my 2000 2500 chevy silverado z 71 extended cab shortbed. Black pickup and black bedliner. You can't even notice from far away but within 8 feet you can see it. It looks tough. Picts to come soon.
