Jimmy Hesitating When Cold

Hey guys, I have a 99 Jimmy, 4.3l V6. Lately when its cold its hesitates and when in traffic while cold it almost shuts off.

It has 180000km, new plugs, wires, cap/rotor.

Has anyone had this before? From my research it could be a fuel filter, dirty IAC motor, TPS on its way out. Any other ideas or solutions!!

I would lean more on the IAC motor, but with out useing a scanner it would be hard for me to help you out.

So the IAC...I can just clean that right? So you think it could be IAC? Would that cause my hesitating when I start off, just as I push on the accelerator?

It can when cold, you can try to clean it

I tried cleaning the IAC and nothing changed. However, I did unplug the connector next to the air filter box (maybe mass air sensor...it is completley in the intake past the air filter) and all problems went away but it did shift gears rougher. When I plug it back in, the hesitating comes back again.

What is this component that I unplugged and is it a safe guess that thats my problem?
