Interior Light Trouble

Hi! Great Forum!

 

I have a 1998 Silverado 1500. I have recently been having a problem with the interior lights. When I get in the truck, the lights come on. When I start the truck, the lights go off after short delay. With truck running, open door and lights come on. Shut door, lights go off. Manually turn knob for lights, they come on normally, then back off when knob is returned to original position. Turn truck off and get out, lights stay on.

 

I have pulled the fuse and then replaced it. I have also disconnected battery for several minutes and then reconnected. Problem still a problem. icon1.gif

 

I can only think that this may have started after I jump started another vehicle a few days ago. Other than that, no abnormal occurances.
